What a Villa Erba wedding costs.
There is no package price at Villa Erba. The total comes from a handful of decisions you make early on. Here is what they are, where the money goes, and how we turn it into a budget you can rely on.
Five decisions that set the budget
- Date and season. Weekends in late spring and early autumn are the most requested; weekdays and the edges of the season can open more options.
- Guest count. Catering, furniture, staffing and transport all scale with it. Villa Erba seats up to 450 across the entrance hall and five connecting rooms, or 700 for a standing dinner, with Le Serre for larger gatherings. We plan weddings of up to 250 guests.
- Which spaces you hire. The gardens, the historic villa and the event centre are hired and priced separately. Many weddings use two of them: a ceremony outside, dinner inside.
- How many events. A welcome dinner, the wedding day and a lunch the following day are three sets of venue, catering and logistics.
- Design and entertainment. Flowers, lighting, staging and music are where budgets vary most, and where we help you spend on what your guests will notice.

Costs couples often miss
- Extra setup or breakdown days for larger productions
- A covered alternative for every outdoor moment, agreed in advance
- Late-night extensions for music and bar service
- Service charges and Italian VAT (IVA), which applies to most supplier invoices
- Transfers from Milan Malpensa, about 45 minutes by road
- Meals for photographers, musicians and other suppliers working through the day

After a first conversation about your date, guest count and priorities, we ask Villa Erba about availability and hire arrangements and gather current proposals from suppliers. You receive a budget that shows each category, what is included, what is optional and our planning fee, so you can compare choices before you commit to anything.
